Abstract
It is known that ancient Russian literary monuments exist in different editions (lists). The author of the article on the example of "Life of Eustathius Plakids ”talks about the lexical difference between the translations of ancient monuments made in large literary centers of that time - Preslavsky and Ohridsky.
