- Abstract
The author considers the least investigated aspects of the public opinion — its essence and structure, and also the functional connections with public consciousness. The author comes to the conclusion that having multimeasurement structure (dynamic, elementary, intrasubject, intraobject), public opinion is a monistic formation, that is distinguished by an internal unity and the power to control human behaviour.
