Abstract
The article considers problems, relating to the modern development stage of the state- public support of small and medium-sized business in Russia. The basic attention is paid to the creation and functioning of so called advisory and consulting bodies on small business, to the analysis of their role in the orientation of state-public policy of small business promoting to the key priorities of the national economy development. On the basis of questionnaire data the paper underlines basic tasks and problems of advisory and consulting bodies' activity and the ways towards the solution of the given problems.
