Abstract
The author publishes archive documents concerning a gift of ancient Egyptian artifacts offered by Khedive Abbas II Hilmi to the Russian Government. The artifacts were found in 1891 in a collective burial of priests and priestesses of Amun in Deir el-Bahari (Bab el-Gusus) and partly distributed among seven (then 17) European countries as a gift of the Egyptian Government. The materials were discovered by the author in the Archive of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Empire.
