Abstract

The author reconsiders the genesis of Codices A and B of Geographi graeci minores. He refutes the opinion that B depends mechanically of A. Orthographic and paleographic peculiarities of the manuscripts prove that these codices had independent history and, most probably, descended from one uncial protograph. One may also suppose that the text preserved in B had its own development at the minuscule stage.
