Abstract

It is a Russian translation of a chapter from the unpublished monograph by E. Grace (Kazakevich) “Slave and Free Non-Citizen Offenders in Attic and Platonic Homicide Law” written in the 1960s. The chapter deals with the Draconian law on homicide, and specially accentuated is the problem of statuses of offender and victim. The author is interested mainly in what treatment the law suggested regarding persons of non-citizen statuses (metics, xenoi, slaves).
