- Abstract
- The authors analyze two inscriptions in Aramaic script on the silver cups found in 1911 during an illegal excavation of Kurgan 1 in Prokhorovka (Southern Urals). Paleographic and linguistic data as well as new archaeological material discovered in this kurgan in 2003 make it possible to date the inscriptions to a period before the end of the 3rd с. ВС.
