- Abstract
The authors discuss the function of the early Parthian construction Mansur-depe (North Parthiaena). Comparing the monument with the analogous materials in Iran and Mesopotamia, they come to the conclusion that Mansur-depe was a dwelling-place for the higher classes of the Parthian society. It is noteworthy that this type of dwelling-place is close to those of ancient Bactria.
