- Abstract
The author suggests his interpretation of the mural painting in a fullonica in Pompeii (VI. 14. 21–22). He supposes that in addition to the procession in honour of Minerva it depicts the rite of initiation of a fullo (i.e. his entrance into the corporation) and subsequent dramatic events which lead to a court trial.
