- Abstract
Near the eastern slope of Kurgan 1 of the Burial Ground Filippovka 1 an intact burial pit dated to the 4th century BC was discovered in 2015. A woman’s burial contained about 1200 various objects, including artifacts produced in Achaemenid workshops. These artifacts, as well as other finds from the Southern Ural Area, can be considered as evidence for the influence of the Achaemenid culture on the material and artistic culture of the nomads in the area.
