Abstract
The article analyzes the Permian material, which is used as one of the reflexes for the reconstruction of pointing particles * e "this, that" ~ * o ~ * and "that" in the Uralic proto-language. It is proved that the categories of pronouns with a vocal anlaut are the result of the late separate development of the Komi and Udmurt languages. They can be systematically etymologized from the Uralic consonant stems * to “that” ~ * ta “this”, * ci ~ * ce or “this, that”. So, Udmurt and Komi demonstratives, such as oti ~ seti "there, in that place", otci ~ setci "there", otin ~ seten "there", otis '~ setis' "from there", traced to different sources (udm. O - <ur. * o ~ and, Komi se- <ur. * se), according to the author, are of general Permian origin. They are formed from the basics: komi se- ~ udm. so-, representing regular phonetic matching, using common case and derivational suffixes. Komi prefix particle e- in formations of the type taje ~ etaje "this, this one", given as a reflex ur. * e “this, that”, apparently, is also a late innovation: in the Komi-Zyryan and Komi-Permian languages, it carries a different functional load. The appearance of this particle significantly changed the already established system of Komi demonstratives, and ultimately led to the deepening of divergent processes in the Permian languages. Since the Finno-Ugric (Uralic) languages ​​are generally not characterized by the prepositive use of particles (for example, in the Komi language, besides the given one, there is only one particle n'e- <Russian not-), Komi e- can also be a Russian borrowing.
