Abstract
The article deals with reflexive markers in the two largest languages ​​Kwa, Ewe and Akan, - "classical" languages ​​with serial constructions. First, the syntactic organization of serial constructions in these languages ​​is discussed and the use of reflexive markers in the syntactic positions of ewe and akan, which are not associated with serial constructions, is described. The article explores the use of reflexive pronouns in specific syntactic positions that are absent in "non-serial" languages: the author considers noun phrases that depend on semantically complete and semantically reduced verbs in serial construction and depend on "left" and "right" in terms of linear order. verbal lexemes; reflexives in causative serial constructions are considered separately. In conclusion, a hierarchy of reflexive positions in serial constructions presented in the languages ​​under consideration is proposed, and an attempt is made to correlate this hierarchy with the universal hierarchy of reflexive pronoun positions.
