Abstract
The article is devoted to a detailed analysis of the system of nominal concordant classes of the language! Hong (South Khoisan language family). The main conclusion is that the class system! Hong is based on the category of alienation, which has three possible meanings ("alienated", "inalienable", "neutral"), which correspond to the three noun classes of this language. Traces of the fact that this category was once inflectional are still preserved in! Hong in the form of relic phenomena. Since from the point of view of the structure of the morphology of the name! Hong is the most complex of all the Khoisan languages known to date, the work also contains elements of formative, morphonological and even tonal analysis of the features of this language.
