Abstract
"Anthropology of Media" as an academic discipline has been established relatively recently; however, the concepts of human being and culture, the ability of the media to influence the individual and their culture in media studies were formulated from the early beginning of their existence. In this article, the author attempts to trace the high points of the anthropological turn in media studies, as well as to identify various periods of the media turn in anthropological knowledge.
