Abstract

Тhе article considers the problem of origin and localization of the Central Asian Dahae. Тhе conclusion is made that in the 4th-2nd се. ВС, the Dahae were occupying the vicinities of the left-bank Chorasmia, Bukhara and Samarkhand Sogdiana and also the lands of the Uzboy River and Atrek River with its tributaries. The accepted Dahae's burial rite allows arguing that the starting point of their migration to Central Asia was the district of Orsk in the Southern Urals (Novo-Kumakskiy burial ground).
